TR International- Malvern- August 11th -12th 2012

It's that time of year again. The International seems to come around quicker and quicker every year. RevingtonTR will be attending again this year, under cover in Wye Hall, hopefully trying to avoid the sun baking the ground rather than rain soaking it! We will be bringing a display of Revingtons own products and other great products available from our catalogue. We will be supported by an expert from Evans Classic Coolants who will be available for questions. We will also have a chassis featuring many of our kits and modifications.

We will not be bringing a great deal of stock to sell at the show, so if there is anything you require please give us a call beforehand. Let us know what you require and we can ensure we take it with us.

We are looking forward to a great weekend and we hope you are too. As always, we look forward to meeting old and new customers and friends. See you all soon.

A New Way To Cool Your Engine

EVANS WATERLESS ENGINE COOLANTS

RevingtonTR now have available a fantastic new range of products that offer many benefits to classic car drivers and their cars. RevingtonTR would not offer anything for sale without testing it first. So Evans Classic Cool  was put to the test in Neils own car, undergoing extensive testing and evaluation. It has prooved itself in rallies and extended driving under arduous conditions. Neil was delighted with the results and had to make it available to the rest of the market place.

TR's Sent to Coventry - A Great Day Out.

We had an unusual but extremely interesting run out with the Cotswold Vale group of the TR Register on Father’s day Sunday the 17th of June. Sue and I took 3VC to meet up with Terry Smith and Jacky at his house in Evesham then joined a convoy of TR’s on our way to Coventry airport.

Air Atlantique have made Coventry airport their home where they look after an amazing array of classic aeroplanes. They have amongst other fabulous airworthy craft, a De Havilland Rapide, a Venom, a Dove and a Meteor.

Recently retired from service however they have kept a DC6 and converted it into a restaurant and bar.

After parking our cars in front of an Avro Shackleton we set off for the bar and the restaurant where we had an excellent meal and a few bevvies before having the opportunity to walk around (and in) most of the aircraft. We were also privileged to see the Venom and the Meteor fire up and fly off to a local air display.

Thanks to Terry Smith for organising a fabulous day out combining all my favourite things, Aircraft, TR’s, good food and beer, good company and of course not forgetting Sue who knew from the start she would be driving home: well it was father’s day!

French Revolution is a Revelation - Natalies First Rally

Taking part in the French Revolution 2012 was a great experience; it being my first rally it was hard to know what to expect, how to prepare and if I was going to have any idea what I was doing. The answer to the later was “no, I didn’t have a clue on day one what I was doing!” but this for me was a great challenge and I tried to rise up (slowly but surely) to the superior standard of the dear Mr Neil Revington, but this was hard!

Bratislava or Bust Rally - Support Revington Junior as he raises money for charity

As the crow flies, it is a mere 750 miles between the cities of Canterbury in Kent, and the Slovakian capital of Bratislava. No big deal, you may think, but this journey is to be made not by one of our feathered friends, but by two young engineers who have decided to raise money for charity by taking part in a sponsored rally. Marcus and his girlfriend Stacey will not have the luxury of a direct route but instead will cover an estimated 1,400 miles (one way) as part of ‘Bratislava or Bust’, a journey which will wind its way through seven countries in as many days at the beginning of August.
