Our Open Day is Drawing Near

The last couple of weeks have been very busy, preparing for the Stoneleigh show and the follow up afterwards. My apologies to anyone who has not had a response as quickly as you might have liked. No sooner is the show over and we are now preparing for the Open Day on the 31st March. Don't forget to spread the word around your group and tell you friends. We look forward to meeting you at our Open Day and hope you will find it warmer than last weekend at Stoneleigh. Light refreshments will be available. TR4 Switch Plinth 706882

Moulded plinth TR4 706882

RevingtonTR have recently remanufactured the TR4 switch plinth 706882. Early cars were fitted with a cardboard plinth part number 705206 which was prone to severe warping, later a solid plastic part was used. RevingtonTR's  part number 706882 is a sturdy fibreglass moulding identical in appearance to the later plastic part complete with "leather graining" finish. There are several reproductions on the market which are poor quality and badly shaped or just a thin plastic cover. As we have an unused late plastic Stanpart sample as used on later cars, we have had our own parts made in black fibreglass to the correct shape. Customers will need to cut out the switch and choke cable holes as required.

RevingtonTR Open Day- Join in the Fun

RevingtonTR are planning their 3rd Open Day for Saturday 31st March 2012. As we are not able to hold it on the usual first Saturday in April ,due to the Easter break, we have brought it forward to the 31st March. We just hope the weather is as kind to us as it has been on the previous events.

The RevingtonTR Open Day is one of the early events in the year so it is always a great trip out for you and your car early in the season. This can be a great shake down run and an opportunity to purchase those last minute items required to complete those jobs started but not quite finished. The date is approaching rapidly and the  contents of the day still have to be finalised but it is sure to be another great day.

As usual we will be opening all of our used part  storeage areas to our visitors so that you can have a look through our second hand parts.

We will have part built chassis's and splendid examples of completed cars on display. 

At the Open Day you will  meet with like minded people and view the fantastic cars of many of our customers. The car park could be termed a show in itself. Our previous events have drawn some great examples of the TR range and other marques. It is sure to be a great day.
