Waste Oil Wanted

Help Keep the Heaters Burning
At RevingtonTR we have installed workshop heaters that are designed to burn waste oil. Usually the oil collected during the summer and winter months keeps us going but with the extended cold spell this year we have nearly depleted our stock.

We are therefore looking for your waste oil. If you are coming to our open day on Saturday the 6th April this might be your opportunity to get rid of that waste oil that is lying around at the back of your garage. We have a secure storage tank so there is no problem with the environmental impact of it being stored outside and leaking. It will be put into our storage tank on the day of receipt for safe and secure storage. If you have oil that you need to dispose of before then and are in our area give us a call or just drop in and we will be happy to take it off your hands.

106577EX and 106578EX - Link Looks As Good As New

Refurbished Lower Links Now Available

RevingtonTR have sold this part for some time but you may not have been aware of it, so here is the latest information to bring you up to date. The links are not available new, therefore these lower wishbones have been sleeved to take out any eccentricity at the pivot ends, rebushed with RTR3128 at the trunnion end as necessary, powder coated black and fitted with a new grease nipple. They are therefore ‘ready to use’. Available from stock (20/3/13). If this is something you need, place your order today.

Item shown is 106577EX

Please note, When sold these parts have a surcharge applied (£30 as at 20/3 2013 but please check). If you send us an old unit back that can be reconditioned then the surcharge will be refunded. “That can be reconditioned” means a straight part with worn or even oval pivot points is acceptable but a part bent double in an accident is not!

Is She Ready For The Road?

Easter weekend is not far away. Our glorious spring weather (forever hopeful in the UK!) is sure to be beckoning your car out of the garage. If you have not already done so, why not give your pride and joy the once over to make sure everything is ok. And don't forget to give RevingtonTR a call if there is anything you need. From split pins to a major restoration (a little short notice for this Easter weekend though) we can help fulfil your needs. The one thing you will need but one we cannot help with is your chocolate egg, you’ll have to go elsewhere for those. We look forward to speaking to you soon.

RevingtonTR Open Day - Update

Comment overheard last year ,"There are more TR5's here than at Malvern"
RevingtonTR Open Day Saturday 6th April 2013. As most of our customers know, we specialise in Triumph TR's and our Open Day will lean heavily in that direction. But we also have products that suit all marques and some racing types as well. This will be where you can find out more detail about Evans Waterless Coolant, why Superpro polyurethane bushes are class leaders and lots more, all in a single day. We have therefore opened our arms even wider to include Local Classic Clubs and Local Motorsport Clubs. With a presentation by Graham Robson on the Triumph works cars supported by the works cars 6VC and 3VC, that by itself is good day out. If we can get even more cars from the local clubs that will appeal to a wider audience then it will be a brilliant day. Why not get your club to have a drive to Somerset and join in the fun. Spread the word - We hope you can make it.

Customers Cars

Here is  a Lovely Example of a Customers Car
You know I have been trying to get a collection of photos of customers cars for some weeks now. We have had several responses and I have uploaded those to the web site. Ideally I would like to see cars with lots of RevingtonTR parts fitted but don't worry if they have not. Here is a car from one of our customers with a little bit of a biography as well.
So take note, why not share your pride and joy with other TR owners. The photo's do not need to be so professional looking, Mark obviously put a lot of effort in to getting these shots. Thanks Mark.

My father, TR's and Revington TR are all wrapped up for me in the same memories. Dad had a TR when I was a kid and he spent what seemed years rebuilding it in our old garage, and some of my earliest memories are traveling with Dad down to the Neil Revington's house/garage, which was the humble birthplace of Revington TR, to pick up "bits" for the TR rebuild and to get much needed advice and guidance. The whole TR experience and camaraderie centred around Neil and the enthusiasts for the marque. It seemed really exciting to me as a youngster and my love for TR's was born.

Unfortunately my father passed away a few years ago, but I am sure he would have approved of me blowing my modest inheritance on my own TR4 exactly the same as his (down to the colour). All the details and style of the TR evoked for me memories of Dad, my childhood and my love for classic TR's. Of course the only choice for me to vet the car and advise me was Neil and Revington TR. Neil accompanied me to buy the car and has supplied "bits" and advice ever since.

My relationship with Revington TR has gone even further in Neil's support for my business The Pop-Up Hotel (www.thepopuphotel.com), helping with advice on Motor-sport events and attending our launch event. Neil still supports our event work and I hope to lure him and some TR's to our set up at Goodwood Revival as well...…
